SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police have identified the teen killed in a drive-by shooting. It happened on the corner of Croly and East Fayette Streets around 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Police said Myquan Lawrence, 18, was shot multiple times while standing in front of a store. Moments after the call came in, a nearby officer discovered Lawrence just a few yards away. He was pronounced dead at Upstate University Hospital.
Police said there were a number of witnesses to the shooting, but most left the scene before officers could get their information.
