ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Golfers from 14 states were at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino Thursday to take part in the fifth annual Jim Boeheim Golf Classic.

SU basketball legends Pearl Washington, Jim Lee, Roosevelt Bouie and others took to the links at the Atunyote Golf Club. The event proved to be a success for the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation, which helps support local kids in need, as well as cancer research and advocacy groups.

"Kids are going to benefit. Probably over $100,000 will be raised here in Central New York today and we've got a perfect Central New York day, which doesn't happen every year," Jim Boeheim said.
