WASHINGTON -- The country will watch Wednesday as President Obama delivers his first State of the Union address. The speech is still being written, but one senior official said the main points would include creating jobs, addressing the deficit, and helping the middle class.
On CNN's American Morning, David Frum with the American Enterprise Institute, spoke about President Obama using the speech to stay true to himself.
Frum said, "It's not so much of what he talks about in the State of the Union; it's how he talks about it. Is he conciliatory? Is he big? Is he generous? Is he president of the whole country or shrink into the leader of the party? Does he repeat the absurd speech in Elyria, Ohio, which is not true to his nature, not true to his presidency?"
We will bring you President Obama's State of the Union address live Wednesday night at 9 p.m. as part of Capital Tonight.
