CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick joins a list of speakers at next month's Democratic National Convention in North Carolina.

Governor Patrick said he's looking forward to participating in the convention "because more than anything else, what is at stake right now is the American Dream."

The convention will be held Sept. 3-6 in Charlotte.
