LONDON, U.K. -- A disappointing finish for Elmira native Molly Huddle in her bid for an Olympic medal. Huddle finished in 11th place in Friday's 5,000 meter final.
Huddle, seen here running in the qualifying round, finished the final in a time of 15 minutes and 20 seconds. It was a slow race overall and Huddle's time Friday was 18 seconds slower than her qualifying time.
Huddle, a graduate of Notre Dame High School, set the American record at 5,000 meters in 2010.
