SARATOGA, N.Y. -- The Saratoga season is creeping up as Opening Day is this Friday. Many of the trainers have moved their horses in and they're ready for the 144th meet at the Spa.

Todd Pletcher is looking to defend his training title. Another guy who is hoping for another big meet is Jimmy Bond. He took the Whitney last year with his horse Tizway and he said the 40 days in Saratoga are what he waits for all year long.

"There's always excitement, nerves. The world's watching. This is the premiere meet in the world. The best horses, the best trainers, the best jockeys, best help. This is where it's at and this is the proving ground. College is over. You gotta get out and show who you are," said Bond.
