SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Post positions will be drawn today for one of the bigger events of the Saratoga season: the Whitney Stakes. Positions will be drawn this morning for the 85th edition of the Grade One race.

The Whitney has the biggest purse of the summer at $750,000. This Whitney is also a Breeders’ Cup Challenge race, with the winner gaining an automatic entry into the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
