CORTLAND, N.Y. - Antonio Cromartie is considered the second best cornerback on the Jets, but apparently Cromartie himself thinks he's the second best wide receiver as well. In an interview on Tuesday, Cromartie declared himself the second-most talented wideout on the team, behind only Santonio Holmes.

One of the Jets' receivers lower on the depth chart took issue with that statement. Jets receiver Chaz Schilens says he'll settle the issue with Cromartie on the field.

The injury bug has already bitten the New York Jets, and it seems to be targeting one specific position. The Jets have 12 wideouts on their roster, but only four were able to finish practice on Wednesday.

Jets coach Rex Ryan says part of it may have to do with the fact that practices are being run faster now, but he also says guys need to come into camp in better shape.

Ryan says he's never had so many wideouts injured at once. The Jets hold their first preseason scrimmage Saturday.
