COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Upstate New York will be well represented in the men's Lacrosse Final Four. Both Syracuse and Cornell are advancing, but in very different ways.
Top ranked Syracuse needed three goals in the final three minutes of play to get past Yale.
The Orange came out on top 7 to 6, to get to championship weekend in Philadelphia for the first time in four years.
Earlier in the day, Cornell dominated their quarterfinal opponent, Ohio State, beating the Buckeyes 16 to 6.
Cornell actually had two players score at least six goals.
