Back at Lisa Hill's Tri training group this morning. I'm not feeling too bad. My body position on the bike still makes my neck feel sore. But it's okay. We do two loops of the flat portion of the Green Lakes course, which is about 18-20 miles. It takes just about one hour and ten minutes. We do a quick 15 minute run after. I actually feel much better than the last couple week, but I'm still extremely stiff.

I run with my friend Trudy today, and we go easy for 48 minutes. It's the first run that I've done that's been longer than 20 consecutive minutes since the accidents, which feels good. But still a bit sore after.

Nothing too exciting today. Just a 32 minute base run. At least I'm starting to get my runs back in.

It's the last day before I go on vacation, so I want to get at least a little bit of a workout in because I know I will just be lazy the next few days. I do a 15 minute easy base run on the treadmill (ugh really hate the treadmill), followed by 20 minutes of strength training. I'm really trying to up my strength training. I need to build up my core and remind my body that it has muscles that need to wake up! For the most part, I feel pretty good.
