Bernard Trickey murder case goes to grand jury
In St. Lawrence County, acting District Attorney Gary Miles will present the Bernard Trickey murder case before a grand jury today.
Wayne Oxley is accused of beating Bernard Trickey, Jr. to death with a baseball bat in late August.
John Shannon, a key prosecution witness in the preliminary hearing, was found dead in his burning Ogdensburg home last month.
Miles said Shannon's statements could still be used in the case since he testified under oath before his death.
