VESTAL, N.Y. -- A not guilty plea for the man accused of killing a Binghamton University professor.

Abdulsalam al-Zahrani, 45, pleaded not guilty to second degree murder in a Broome County Court Thursday. Al-Zahrani is accused of stabbing BU professor Richard Antoun in his office this past December.

So far, no date has been set for the Saudi National's trial. He did not request bail and will remain in the Broome County Jail pending his next hearing.

Al-Zahrani was a grad student in the anthropology department where Professor Antoun worked.
