ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- Most people aren't thinking about boating while there's still snow on the ground, but those who work and travel on the St. Lawrence Seaway are preparing for the quickly approaching season.
The Seaway Development Corporation says the Seaway will be open for business March 25. There will be some travel restrictions subject to weather and ice conditions.
The Seaway is a shipping channel that follows the St. Lawrence River from Montreal to Lake Ontario.
