ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- Several witnesses took the stand Friday as the second week of the murder re-trial for Wayne Oxley wrapped up.
Oxley is being retried for beating his neighbor, Bernard Trickey Jr., to death with a baseball bat in his Ogdensburg home in 2005. Jurors viewed several pieces of evidence this week, including photos and a layout of Trickey's home.
Oxley was convicted in 2006, but the verdict was over turned after it was determined a key witness wasn't allowed to testify.
The judge says the trial could last as long as three months.
