CHEMUNG COUNTY, N.Y. -- One woman is dead after a cabin fire in the Town of Baldwin.

Officials say on Sunday, Kanisha Wood, 20, was taken to Robert Packer Hospital and later flown to LeHigh Valley Burn Center where she died of her injuries. Police say firefighters from the Van Etten Fire Department found the cabin engulfed in flames when they arrived Sunday.

New York State Police are still investigating the cause of the fire.
