OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Fort Drum solider who escaped military custody two weeks ago has been arrested and arraigned on additional charges out of Oswego County.
Russell Marcum, 20, faces numerous felony charges, including burglary, for the vehicles he allegedly stole during a two day manhunt that ended in Tompkins County.
Marcum had already been charged with burglary in Jefferson County before he assaulted another Fort Drum soldier and escaped custody.
Now he also faces charges including burglary, criminal mischief and criminal trespass for allegedly breaking into a storage facility in the Town of Richland and stealing items back on September 11th.
Bail was set at $10,000.
