SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Students at Syracuse University camp out at the Carrier Dome in hopes of getting tickets in the student section for Friday night’s basketball game against number nine ranked Florida.

Students traditionally come equipped with tents and chairs with the goal of getting front row seats for the first game of the season against a ranked opponent. Some of these dedicated fans have been camping out since the Orange played Eastern Michigan on Tuesday night.

While their focus was what will be happing on the court, these students were still very aware of the investigation of Bernie Fine.

"I think it should be, they should do whatever the investigation needs to be done, in order to find out the truth because there's just been so many different stories going around. I think they just have to get down to the bottom of it," said SU freshman Michael Schildt.

Since Fine's firing, former Orange great Gerry McNamara has been promoted to associate coach.
