WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- The annual Festival of Trees in Watertown broke all sorts of records this year.

The event held this past weekend at the state office building in Watertown raised nearly $107,000 for children's programs at Samaritan Medical Center and the local YMCA.

More than 50 trees decorated by various businesses and residents all sold at auction.

Samaritan Foundation Director Beth Fipps says there was also a record number of people who attended both the gala Friday night and Father Daughter Sugar Plum ball Saturday night, helping raise awareness for those programs.
