THERESA, N.Y. -- A truck towing a large trailer rolled over on Schell Road in the Town of Theresa just before 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The driver of the vehicle escaped serious injury when he flipped over, taking out a Verizon utility pole in the process. He was taken to Samaritan Medical Center as a precaution.

The road was briefly closed to allow for the truck to be towed away.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident and State Police are handling the investigation.
