SARANAC LAKE, N.Y. -- A popular North Country festival is in full swing this weekend. The Saranac Lake Winter Carnival draws thousands of people to the village each year.

This is the 115th year for the 10-day event, which includes everything from sports and games to shows and food.

The centerpiece of the festival is the massive Ice Castle with a "Space Alien Invasion" theme. There's also palace lighting ceremony and fireworks display scheduled for tonight.

And if you can't make it to the carnival yourself today, YNN has you covered. We'll carry the fireworks show live tonight. It's set to start at 7 p.m., and we'll bring it to you as soon as it begins.
