WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- Danny Glover is most known for his roles in the movies 'The Color Purple', 'Angels in the Outfield' and of course the 'Lethal Weapon' series.

On Tuesday, the actor hosted a stage conversation at Jefferson Community College.

As a tribute for Black History Month, Glover spoke about the life of Langston Hughes, an American writer and activist who was most known for his role with the Harlem Renaissance.

Glover also took time to answer questions from the audience about almost anything, including his storied acting career.

Glover is hosting several of these events along with fellow actor Felix Justice, who protrays Dr. Martin Luther King.

He says it's a honor to take time out and speak about the issues that not only affect the country, but his own life as well.

"More than just being an artist, I consider myself a citizen and perhaps the work that I do as a citizen I believe provides the access to people and their communities," said Glover.

YNN will have more from our exclusive conversation with Glover on Wednesday, including a preview of his visit to Onondaga Community College.
