LIVERPOOL, N.Y. -- A sub-committee says it will recommend redistricting to the Liverpool School Board.
The committee held a work session Wednesday, where they weighed the positives and negatives of redistricting.
The goal is to even out the classroom numbers at the district's elementary and middle schools. As things stand now, a number of classrooms are overcrowded.
Committee members say they will make the recommendation to redistrict to the board and they are contemplating bringing in outside consultants to help create a plan.
No changes would be made until the 2013 school year.
