JEFFERSON COUNTY, N.Y. -- Singer Castle in Jefferson County gets some very cool news. A reality show shot there in September has been picked up by the TNT Network.
Superstar producers Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and “The Amazing Race”'s Bertram van Munster created the show, which is called "The Great Escape."
For the pilot episode, people were brought to Singer Castle and had to figure out the various secret passageways, tunnels and dungeons to escape.
TNT spent more than $100,000 restoring some of the castle's trick features and other upgrades.
The show, which debuts this summer, will be hosted by former ESPN and current NFL Network anchor Rich Eisen.
