ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. – The trial of the driver responsible for a deadly Megabus crash on the Onondaga Lake Parkway is set to start Tuesday. John Tomaszewski is facing four counts of criminally negligent homicide.

Police said he was driving the double-decker bus from Philadelphia to Syracuse in 2012. The Megabus hit the low bridge on the parkway, killing four people and injuring several others.

Tomaszewski has refused his right to a jury trial, leaving it up to a judge to make a decision in the case.
