SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Witness testimony continues today in the trial of the Megabus driver who crashed into the bridge on the Onondaga Lake Parkway back in 2010, killing four people.

John Tomaszewski faces four counts of criminally negligent homicide. In court this morning, testimony focused on accident reconstruction and all of the signs leading up to the CSX Railroad bridge that warn drivers about its 10-foot, 9 inch clearance.

An Onondaga County Sheriff's Deputy testified that even if Tomaszewski had missed all of the warning signs, he would have still had 600 feet or roughly eight seconds to brake and stop the bus.

Another official testified that the electronic control module, which serves as the black box for the bus, showed no heavy braking and no sudden deceleration before the crash.

That officer was asked whether in his opinion, he thought Tomaszewski saw the bridge. His response was that either he didn't see the bridge or at the very least did not perceive its threat.
