WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- The North Country has Gone Green this weekend for their Annual Irish Festival.

Festivities kicked off Friday and will continue through Sunday. This family-friendly Irish celebration has everything from Irish Dancing, music, food, drinks and games.

Organizers say they're seeing a record turnout this year and are excited about the buzz the Irish Festival has created throughout the North Country.

Sean Hennessey, North Country Goes Green Entertainment Chair said, “We're really appreciative because this is all for local charities, whether it be DPAO, the Wounded Warrior organization, the Jefferson County Children's Home, or the numerous scholarships that we give out every year. This is what it's all about at the Irish Festival in Watertown."
