ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- It was a mixed decision from the jury in the case of the former Waterville gym teacher accused of molesting a student.
Jurors in Oneida County Court found David Lemery not guilty of the top charge against him -- course of sexual conduct against a child in the first degree. However, they did find him guilty of that charge in the second degree.
Lemery was accused of molesting a student from the time she was in kindergarten until she left Memorial Park Elementary in fifth grade.
He'll be sentenced in July.
