Lawmakers discuss bill to protect people with special needs
Lawmakers could vote on new legislation to protect people with special needs and disabilities later this week. The bill aims to change how the state protects over one million disabled New Yorkers in state facilities and programs. But at least one advocate says the new "Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs" doesn't go far enough. Solomon Syed has more from the Capitol where lawmakers are still discussing the bill.
