BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- We have a traffic alert for drivers headed into downtown Binghamton this coming week. The intersection of Court, Chenango, and Exchange Streets will be closed starting at 6:00 a.m. This is so work can continue on the Court Street Gateway project, which as been in progress since March.

Along with Court Street's first repaving in 25 years, and other improvements, crews are building a new roundabout at the intersection as part of the $2.7 million project. The intersection is expected to reopen at 5:00 p.m. next Friday. The entire Court Street Gateway project is expected to be finished in November.
