Infant injured in hit-and-run crash

ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- Authorities in St. Lawrence County arrested a man following a hit-and-run with an Amish buggy. It happened on Irish Settlement Road in the town of Oswegatchie on Sunday.

Sheriff’s Deputies said Travis Quicke, 23, rear-ended an Amish buggy and then left the scene. An infant passenger had to be taken to the hospital with a leg injury.

Quicke was arrested and charged after deputies found him in Canton.
