SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Chiefs' 20-game homestand came to an end on Monday but their winning streak did not as they made it eight in a row with a 10-6 victory over Gwinnett.
Five players had a multi-hit game for the Chiefs and five drove in at least one run.
Syracuse, which went 14-6 during its long home stretch, now embarks on an eight-game road trip starting Tuesday at Durham.
