CORTLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- An overnight crash in Cortland County ended with one man dead and another charged with vehicular manslaughter and DWI.

State Police arrested Derek Manwarren, 21, of Truxton. Troopers say he was driving along Route 13 in Truxton shortly before 3 a.m. Friday when he struck a vehicle parked on the shoulder, partially in the roadway. That vehicle, in turn, hit a second parked car with a man changing a flat tire. That man, Brian Cook, 26, of Manlius, was killed.

Manwarren was arraigned and sent to Cortland County Jail.
