LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. -- House Speaker John Boehner is coming to the North Country. Twenty-first Congressional candidate Matt Doheny made the announcement on his Facebook page.

Boehner will be in Lake George on August 3rd campaigning for Doheny. He's hosting a reception with tickets going for $150 per person and $250 per couple.

Doheny is coming off a primary victory last month, defeating businesswoman Kelli Green.

Doheny is running against Democrat Bill Owens, the same man he lost to just two years ago. Owens is the incumbent of the former 23rd Congressional district. That changes to the 21st district for this year's election and changes shape significantly, stretching across 11 different counties in the North Country.
