ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A former hotel manager has gotten probation for stealing from her employer.

Cathaline Aylmer, 39, of Utica, was convicted of stealing more than $40,000 in cash from the Brewerton Days Inn Motel between June and November of last year.

Aylmer also made fraudulent credit card purchases using the hotel’s corporate card.

Aylmer was sentenced to five years probation and must pay the hotel's insurance company almost $49,000 in restitution.
