AURORA, CO -- The names of the 12 victims killed in the shooting are starting to be released. One of the victims is John Larimer, 27, who was in the Navy. The family released a statement saying they were notified Friday night by naval officers that their son had died in the shooting rampage.

Another victim was an Air Force Reservist, Staff Sergeant Jesse Childress, 29. He was a cyber systems operator at Buckley Air Force Base. Also killed in the shootings was an aspiring sports journalist, Jessica Ghawi, who survived a Toronto mall shooting last month. Alex Sullivan, Rebecca Wingo, Matt McQuinn, Micayla Medek and A.J. Boik were also among those that died.

Colorado authorities have not yet released the names of everyone, but relatives and employers have identified most.
