CHEMUNG COUNTY, N.Y. -- The motorcyclist killed in a crash Saturday night has been identified.

Police say Andrew Vert, 30, of Elmira, was heading south on Lake Street when he collided with a car in the area where the road turns into Madison Ave.

The investigation into the crash is continuing and Elmira Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed it to call the Traffic Bureau at (607) 737-5640.
