ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A man is in the hospital after a hit and run accident in Oneida County.

The Whitestown Police Department say just before 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jose Calrrion , 41, of Whitesboro, was hit while riding his bicycle at the intersection of Clinton Street and Birchwood Lane.

Calrrion was taken to St. Luke’s Medical Center for a hip injury.

Police say the car that left the scene was a light colored box shape vehicle that was traveling northwest on Birchwood Lane.
