Endicott man sentenced in child assault case
BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. -- An Endicott man was sentenced after pleading guilty to child assault charges. On Tuesday, Jermaine McGinnis, 30, was sentenced to six years in prison as well as five years of post-release supervision.
Police say he admitted to injuring his three-and-a-half year old son and also attempting to assault his two-year-old son last July.
They say McGinnis held the boys' hands and feet in scalding water and delayed them from getting to a hospital for medical treatment.
