ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Syracuse police are investigating a tractor trailer crash. It happened on the Interstate 81 overpass just after midnight.

Police say the cab of the tractor trailer separated from the frame, falling over the guardrail and onto the sidewalk near McBride Street.

The driver and a passenger, two men from Ontario, were able to get out of the cab with minor injuries. They were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The driver was issued a traffic ticket for moving from a lane unsafely.
