SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police are investigating a stabbing that seriously injured one man. It happened around 9 p.m. Thursday at the B&B Lounge on South Avenue.

Police say Johnny Floyd, 49, was stabbed once in the torso with a sword during a fight. He was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is said to be an acquaintance of Floyd's, but he is missing at this time.
