Tupper Lake man dies after rollover crash

TUPPER LAKE, N.Y. -- A Tupper Lake man has died after the truck he was riding in rolled over in Hamilton County. The crash happened early Wednesday morning on State Route 30 in the town of Long Lake.
State Police said the driver, Jordan Amell, 17, of Piercefield, was driving northbound when the truck went off the road and rolled over multiple times. The passenger, Joshua Peck, 20, of Tupper Lake, was found unconscious and was transported to a local hospital, than flown to a hospital in Vermont.
Peck later died from a severe blunt force neck injury. Amell and another passenger, Matthew Corrow, 16, of Tupper Lake, were treated for minor injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
