AUBURN, N.Y. - In the finale of a series featuring division-leading teams, the Auburn Doubledays avoided a sweep to Tri-City with a 9-5 win on Monday.
Five Doubledays had multi-hit games as the team racked up 15 hits in support of starting pitcher Brett Mooneyham, who threw six shutout innings and allowed just three hits and no walks.
