MARCY, N.Y. -- No one was injured when a tractor trailer fell on its side, trying to exit Route 49 east Tuesday.

Crews on the scene said the truck was traveling from the Family Dollar Distribution Center in Rome to Syracuse. The driver lost control on a curve of the Cavanaugh Road exit ramp in Marcy. That ramp was expected to be closed until clean-up was complete. DOT officials say it could re-open around 5 p.m.

There is no word on whether the driver will be ticketed.
