UTICA, N.Y. -- A Utica man is facing assault charges after police say he stabbed two men.

Investigators arrested Deashon Tarver, 21, last week for allegedly stabbing one man in the back of the head and another in the thigh. Both victims were treated at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Their injuries were determined to be non-life threatening.

Tarver has been charged with two counts of second degree assault and two counts of fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon.
