Syracuse's Carousel Center will officially become Destiny USA today. The mall is celebrating with a re-branding ceremony in the new Canyon area later this morning, and events are being held through August 6th. Pyramid spokesperson, David Aitken, brought us a preview of what’s in store for the rebranding.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse's Carousel Center officially becomes Destiny USA today. The facility is celebrating with a rebranding ceremony in the new Canyon area.

Destiny USA's new 2.4 million square-foot expansion includes luxury outlet tenants, restaurants, and entertainment.

Today, officials will reveal new signage and 26 new digital directories. There will also be free carousel rides, and a laser light show, and plenty of giveaways.

Other events throughout that week will include live musical entertainment Saturday, and a Family Fun Day on Sunday.
