CORTLAND, N.Y. -- Police have another man in custody after a brutal assault in Cortland last weekend. The assault happened on Main Street early Saturday morning.
The victim, Robert Miller, 25, was found unconscious on the sidewalk. He's still in critical condition at Upstate University Hospital.
Police arrested Marcus Delige, 22, for first-degree gang assault, second-degree assault and conspiracy. He was sent to the Cortland County Jail with $50,000 cash bail.
Police say Delige and another man, Kaywon Pittman, 24, were part of a group of people who planned the assault. Pittman was taken into custody earlier this week.
Police are still investigating the assault and they say they anticipate more arrests in the case.
