JEFFERSON COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Black River woman is facing rape charges.

Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Nicole Hargis, 28, of Black River, for sexually abusing a 15- and 16-year-old. The alleged abuse happened between January of 2011 and last month.

Hargis has been charged with five counts of rape, criminal sex act and sexual abuse.

She was arraigned in the Town of Leray Court. Bail was set at $15,000 cash.
