BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. -- If you’re traveling by Otsiningo Park this weekend, you won’t be able to use the I-81 ramp from Route 11 near Spiedie Fest. The DOT says the ramp will be closed until Monday at 11 a.m.

Parking for Spiedie Fest is available at Broome Community College. Buses will be picking people up to bring them to the festival.

Front Street will have one lane open between Bevier and Prospect streets.

Those traveling to 81 North in the area can drive north on Front Street to interchange 6.

With all the added traffic and changes, officials are asking drivers and pedestrians to be careful this weekend.

“We ask that you pay close at to your driving, focus on what you need to do as you drive, do not pull over on the side of the road, enjoy the festival from a safe view,” said David Hamburg.

"Pedestrians as well need to be patient. We will get everyone across in a timely manner.
Watch for the deputy's signals and well get everyone where they need to be as fast as we can," said Broome County Deputy Sheriff Kevin Mauser.

The DOT says if you don't have to be near the Spiedie Festival, the best thing to do is plan an alternative route, as delays are possible.
