PARISHVILLE, N.Y. -- A 6-year-old girl drowned in the Allen Falls Flow Reservoir in St. Lawrence County.

Sheriff's deputies say Angel Sochia was found unresponsive in the water near Rosenbarker Road in the Town of Parishville around 6:30 Friday night. Sochia was taken to Canton-Potsdam Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Following an investigation, deputies say the drowning was accidental.
