STOCKBRIDGE, N.Y. -- Authorities are investigating a suspicious fire at a vacant home in Madison County. Crews from four fire departments responded to the fire at the corner of Stockbridge Hill Road and Bishop Road in the Town of Stockbridge around 11:30 Friday night.

They say the house has been vacant for several years and all utilities were disconnected from the home. Officials say a group of youths were in the area when a local resident called 911 about the fire.

They're still investigating the cause and are looking for possible suspects. Anyone who may have information about the fire or may have seen anything suspicious in the area between 10 and 11 Friday night is asked to call Sheriff's deputies at (315) 366-2311.
